Nearshoring Basics for Software Development

We’ve worked on projects that have been distributed across the globe - from China to South America. What isn’t widely appreciated is that software development requires a high degree of coordination and communication between developers. We’ve found it works much more effectively when developers are within a few timezones of each other (preferable +/-2) in order to allow the necessary real-time communication and collaboration that makes a project successful.
